..Empowering People with Challenges |
Drop in hours for mPowerment Members Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm EST mPowerment is a national community building and HIV prevention project for men and transgender people ages 18-29. We plan gay/queer events for people to meet, network, and socialize in spaces that are creative, safe, and fun. Our Core group of volunteers meets twice a month to plan these events and discuss community needs. Our mPowerment program is organized by AIDS Project New Haven and strives to bring people together from all over the Greater New Haven area. Put simply, our mission is to build community and reduce HIV rates through empowerment. Our events strive to stimulate conversations around identity, health, community, and holistic personal growth.
