Women's Support Group
Location: New Haven Home Recovery, 153 east St., 3rd Floor, New Haven
New Haven Home Recovery presents a support group for women infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. Meetings will be held Tuesdays, at 11 a.m. on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, and 5 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.
Please confirm attendance each Monday by calling Deb Marchulitis, MSW, at 203-492-4866, ext. 20. Confidentiality will be strictly observed.

Free, anonymous HIV testing and counseling. We now have the 20 minute Oraquick test kits available.. Testing is done Monday thru Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm by Appointment Only.


The New Haven Mayor's Task Force on AIDS

The mission of The New Haven Mayor's Task Force on AIDS, an advisory body to the Mayor, is to foster a broad-based community response to the HIV epidemic as it ffects the City of New Haven. It advocates for the availability and coordination of education and prevention strategies, as well as high quality comprehensive health and social services for individuals living with or affected by HIV and for those at risk for HIV infection.

Guided Meditation Group for PLWHAs
Time: 9:30am - 10:30am
Location: HRA's Wellness Center (Someplace Special)
This group meets weekly on Tuesdays. It is for people who are HIV+ and has been running for over one year. You do not need any experience to benefit from this group. It is bilingual when it is in a guided format.
